Licensed Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW)

Location: Grace Counseling Center, Orlando
Reports To: Clinical Director

Position Overview:

Grace Counseling is a faith-based nonprofit counseling center committed to providing affordable, high-quality mental health care to individuals and families throughout Central Florida.

We are currently seeking a Licensed Therapist with couples counseling experience. This role is ideal for a compassionate, skilled clinician who is passionate about helping individuals and families find hope and healing, as well as thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct counseling services to individuals (ages 4+), couples, and families.
  • Offer specialized care for couples using evidence-based approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, or Attachment-Based Therapy.
  • Actively participate in case consultations and collaborative team meetings.
  • Support the development of newer counselors by allowing counseling interns to observe sessions, with client consent, as part of our commitment to training and mentoring the next generation of mental health professionals.
  • Maintain accurate, ethical, and timely clinical documentation.
  • Respect and honor client preferences, including the integration of faith when requested.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

  • Active Florida licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT, in good standing.

  • Completion of at least 1,500 supervised clinical hours and passage of state board exams.

  • Proven experience in couples counseling and comfort working with diverse relational issues.

  • Familiarity with various modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, ART, TF-CBT, IFS.

  • Has an active walk with Christ and consistently exhibits Christlike character

  • Adaptable, flexible and thrives in a growing organization

Compensation:

  • $90 per session

  • Independent contractor (1099) status

  • Minimum of 10 clinical hours per week
